Her career spans work and board service with organizations like Global Fund for Women, We Care Solar, The World Bank, UNFCU, CHIEF, Moremi Initiative, and Mastercard Foundation. In 2017, Maame founded MILT LLC (Mindsets for Impactful Leadership & Transformation) to support leadership transformation. She also leads The AfriWomen Network, an inclusive and intergenerational space for Black African women and girls.

She is the founder of BUILD, a national nonprofit that uses entrepreneurship to ignite the potential of youth in under-resourced communities that she built over two decade into a multi-city organization with over 100 employees, $50M raised, and programs embedded in school districts across the U.S.. In 2019, she launched Mayacamas Partners, a boutique leadership consultancy serving high-growth companies, public firms, and mission-driven startups. Suzanne partners with CEOs, executive teams, and rising leaders on executive coaching, offsite design, team alignment, culture transformation, and strategic advising on culture, communication, and cross-functional collaboration. She pioneered the first law school courses in social entrepreneurship at Stanford Law School, Harvard Law School, and Northwestern, and continues to serve as a convener, moderator, and “culture whisperer” for organizations navigating complexity and scale.
